    In 2026–27, tuition runs from AED 8,630 a year in KG to AED 16,930 in Grade 12, approved by ADEK and paid in three terms. No hidden charges: books, uniform and the bus are shown separately.

    • Three terms, or the whole year at once.
    • Cash, card (bank charges apply) or cheque, payable to “Shining Star International School”.
    • Families paying term 1 by cash or card give post-dated cheques for terms 2 and 3.
    • Families already at the school can pay online in the parent portal.

    Concessions in the fee system for 2027–28

    06Regulated fees

    Approved by ADEK, refunded by ADEK's rules

    SSIS's tuition is approved by ADEK, Abu Dhabi's Department of Education and Knowledge, and cannot be raised without ADEK's prior written approval. Fees are collected in at least three instalments, and standardised assessments for Grades 3 to 9 are included in tuition.

    If a child leaves

    The school keeps, at most:

    1. Withdraws before or during the first week of a term

      The registration fee

    2. Attends up to three weeks of a term

      One month's fee

    3. Attends more than three and up to six weeks

      Two months' fees

    4. Attends more than six weeks

      The full term's fee

    One month's fee is the annual tuition divided by ten. Unused books and uniform are refunded; transport is refunded like tuition. A child is never kept from sitting an examination over unpaid fees.
