Onam at Shining Star

Shining Star celebrated Onam with a pookalam competition between the houses, a Thiruvathira dance by the Grade 7 and 8 girls and a Maveli visit to every KG class. The canteen served a sadya on banana leaves to more than 700 children and staff, and parents joined the teachers for a tug of war in the afternoon. Thank you to the Malayalam department and the parent volunteers who started on the flower carpets at 6 in the morning.
